Girls'-Day at EICHLER - A Complete Success

Women and technology – at EICHLER, we fully support this! During the Girls’ Day, three girls were able to gain practical experience and a completely new insight into the professional world.

This year’s Girls’ Day on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025, once again gave a group of young, tech-interested girls a one-day glimpse into the EICHLER company – through hands-on experience, they learned more about careers that are still considered somewhat “atypical” for women.

Schedule for Girls‘-Days

First, the company was introduced to them – after a safety briefing, they got straight to work: they were allowed to solder their very own small roulette circuit board. The shared lunch gave them the chance to exchange ideas with our trainees. Afterwards, the group received exciting insights into the daily work life of employees during the company tour.

What is Girls‘-Day?

Girls' Day at EICHLER is a day full of inspiration and teamwork, offering young women an insight into the world of technology. With Girls' Day, we want to show how important it is for more women to enter technical professions.

End of the day with a small surprise

After an informative day full of practical experiences, the group of girls received a small surprise: a participation certificate, a goodie bag with promotional items, and a QR code with the best photos from the day.

Special thanks to the organizers and supervisors of the girls. Richi, Sarah, Zeynap, and Sebastian made this wonderful day possible.

Conclusion: Technology needs diversity - and passion

The Girls’ Day 2025 at EICHLER was more than just a taster day. It was a powerful statement that technology inspires – and that young women absolutely have their place in this industry. With this, EICHLER sends a clear message: for more diversity in technical professions, for sustainable development – and for a future where talent, curiosity, and commitment matter, not gender.

We’re already looking forward to the next Girls’ Day!
