SIMATIC TIA Portal Expert Knowledge I – Transition/ Migration from STEP7

Seminar duration: 3 days, from 08.00 a.m. to 04.00 p.m.| Cost per participant: 2,389 EUR plus VAT

Are there multiple different Siemens PLC controllers in your production? Do you have older machines and systems with S7-300/ S7-400 PLC controllers? Does the production optimisation team and the maintenance team work with the SIMATIC® Manager Step7 tool? Additionally, do you have machines and systems with S7-1200/ S7-1500 PLC controllers that cannot be diagnosed with SIMATIC® Manager Step7?

In this seminar, we will teach you how to configure and program a PLC controller using the TIA Portal V19 engineering platform, as well as how to commission the controller and diagnose faults. The goal is to migrate the software of STEP7 project of an existing system to the new TIA Portal engineering platform. This migration seminar also provides recommendations and guidance for users who have previously used SIMATIC® S7-300/ S7-400 automation systems with SIMATIC® Step7 and plan to transition to the new SIMATIC® TIA Portal engineering platform.

This seminar is suitable for automation technicians in production, maintenance personnel, as well as commissioning engineers and service technicians. Young skilled workers or apprentices close to their journeyman exams will also gain valuable insights and initial professional experience that will benefit them in their future careers.
