To ensure that each of the over 30,000 repairs annually - or every used device sold - delivers maximum benefit to the customer, it is essential to implement a quality management system at the highest level that meets both national and international standards. Equally important is the careful handling of available resources. 

EICHLER combines various approaches and certifications into an Integrated Management System (IMS), including: 

  • Quality Management according to ISO 9001:2015
  • Environmental Management according to 14001:2015
  • Occupational Health and Safety according to ISO 45001:2018
  • Core Technical Committee 1401

Terms like "repair quality" and "sustainability" are deeply rooted in the company culture and thus become part of the employees' daily actions.

The customer-focused quality philosophy consistently requires managing the service quality expected by the customer. This means not only fulfilling the contractually agreed services, but also addressing the current expectations and needs of our customers.

Our Integrated Management System (IMS) serves to promote and develop customer- and quality-oriented actions and behaviours. At the same tome, environmentally and safety-relevant areas of actions are identified within company processes and integrated accordingly. We ensure our quality standards through regular training of our employees, comprehensive documentation and information management within the company, and quality-focused selection of suppliers and partners. The ISO 9001 certification was first awarded in July 2011 and confirmed in Jul 2017 according to the ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Environmental protection is a central concern in all areas of the company. We handle natural resources with care and comply with all relevant laws and legal regulations. Our environmental management, based o our environmental policy, ensures that the environmental compatibility of our processes undergoes a continuous improvement process and is constantly optimised.

The management reviews compliance with environmental management, including the evaluation of recorded environmentally relevant data. The ISO 14001 certification was first awarded in July 2011 and confirmed in July 2017 according to the ISO 14001:2015 standards.

The most important asset in a service company is its employees. Therefore, workplace safety, health protection, and ergonomic work design are fundamental pillars in the operational procedures and work processes of EICHLER GmbH. Trough this new protection system, we can lay the foundation for a comprehensive healthy corporate culture.

It was therefore obvious to management to complement the existing management system with a functioning occupational health and safety system. The ISO 45001 standard, effective since March 2018, is the only international standard that specifies the requirements for an occupational health and safety management system. The certification was first awarded in November 2020.

Core Technical Committee KTA Rule 1401

In September 2017, EICHLER received the qualification confirmation for quality assurance according to KTA Rule 1401 from the VGB Working Group "Contractor Evaluation". As one of the first service providers, EICHLER is able to repair and distribute components o automation and control technology in the nuclear sector.

Certification according to KTA 1401 is required for providing services in the nuclear sector. During the audit, all system - and product-specific quality assurance undergo strict inspection by the VGB to ensure that contracting companies meet the special requirements of the nuclear field. This includes comprehensive and continuous documentation, a quality management system, outstanding testing and diagnostic capabilities, and continuous knowledge transfer between contractor and client.

36 Months Warranty and Guarantee

Unique in the industry - the latest generation of automated test stands gives you the option to subject sensitive or system-critical assemblies to an extended, optional testing. 

All device functions and interfaces are tested under realistic operating conditions. Functionality is documented in a detailed test report. Additionally, the warranty and guarantee period is uniquely extended to 36 months.
