EICHLER at the Hardys City Run 2025: Stronger together

At the Hardys City Run 2025 in Landsberg, EICHLER was fully involved - both as a sponsor and with its own running team of 16 dedicated employees.

EICHLER at the Hardys City Run 2025 - more than just a corporate run

Once a year, the old town of Landsberg is closed off for a special event. During the Hardys Corporate Run, more than 2,000 runners gather every year on 3 October to compete over various distances. EICHLER once again took part with a team of 16 runners.

Team EICHLER at record size on a new course

A total of 16 EICHLER employees took part in various disciplines - running 5 or 10 kilometres and competing in the Nordic Walking category. This made EICHLER's participation in this year's City Run the largest running team in the company's history.

2025 also marked a premiere with the revised course layout. The new running route led through Landsberg's old town, along the river Lech, past the beautiful Mutterturm, and back into the old town - a highly varied and scenic course.

Running with passion and shared motivation

The weather also showed its best side, with blue skies, pleasant temperatures, and dry loads. Numerous spectators gathered on the main square and along the route.

Easily recognisable in their white and green running shirts, the EICHLER team took part in all disciplines. Along the course, they were repeatedly cheered on by spectators as well as EICHLER colleagues. Rankings were less important than the shared experience, the joy of movement, and spending time together outside the daily work routine.

After crossing the finish line, every participant received a medal, and the runners celebrated their joint achievement, personal best times, and the fantastic atmosphere on Landsberg's main square.

Over drinks and light snacks, everyone exchanged their first impressions and captured many memorable moments in photos.

Looking forward to the Hardys City Run 2026

Motivated by this year's strong performance, many employees have already marked the Hardys City Run 2026 in their calendars. Whether as runners, supporters, or spectators - taking part is what counts!

Thanks to everyone who took part

A heartfelt thank-you goes out to everyone who represented EICHLER at the Hardys City Run 2025 - whether as participants, supporters, or organisers. Through their dedication, the event became a wonderful example of commitment, unity and team spirit; values that are lived at EICHLER every day.

Since 2015, I have been working in marketing at EICHLER GmbH. Right at the start, I soldered a submitted S5 CPU module labeled “Made in Western Germany.” This experience sparked my enthusiasm for sustainability and repair in automation technology. Until 2024, I served as editor-in-chief of the customer magazine "News from maintenance", passionately reporting on people and solutions in industrial maintenance. In the new digital magazine, I now focus on Product Change Notifications (PCN) and Product Discontinuation Notifications (PDN).
