SIMATIC S7 Expert Knowledge II – Interruption and Diagnosis

Seminar duration: 3 days from 08.00 a.m. - 05.00 p.m. | Cost per participant: 2,389 plus VAT

When the system is down, it is crucial for maintenance staff and system operators to act quickly and correctly. Quick and accurate action can be crucial in minimising breakdowns and associated costs during an interruption. This 3-day seminar helps maintenance professionals develop and implement efficient strategies for interruption diagnosis, troubleshooting, and recommissioning within the system.

State-of-the-art interruption racks, developed in-house, ensure maximum practical benefit. Participants train their skills within a virtual S7 system, analyse fault patterns, take corrective action on both hardware and software, and carry out the recommissioning process. The seminar focuses on realistic troubleshooting for hardware and software in a virtual S7 system. Working with integrated special functions, alarm OBs, and the diagnosis buffer simplifies the analysis. Once the fault is resolved, the system is brought back online.

Additionally, the seminar provides participants with knowledge and skills beyond the basics, necessary for modifying and optimising existing production systems. Participants will optimise the Step7 program on a live production system.

Unique training technology

Troubleshooting and fault elimination—trained as realistically as possible—was the guiding principle in the development of our fault simulation racks.

Our more than 40 years of experience and thousands of successfully completed repairs have flowed into the design. The result is a unique training technology that allows over 20 different fault scenarios to be simulated on the hardware and software of a virtual S7 system. It offers participants an ideal learning experience and maximum practical benefit.
