Training completion at EICHLER with a strong finish

Training completion at EICHLER: everyone passes, everyone is offered a permanent role - and Hanna receives the State Award for her outstanding performance

Five young people, five successful qualifications and a special moment at EICHLER: all the trainees have passed their exams and are now firmly established in the company.

A day to remember

It is moments like these that show just how much can be achieved in a few short years. Those first days of training turn into real success stories. Uncertainty gives way to skill. And new recruits become permanent members of the team. The certificate presentation ceremony at EICHLER was exactly this kind of moment.

The company celebrated the successful completion of the 2022 and 2023 training cohorts. Five trainees passed their exams with flying colours. All five will be continuing their careers at EICHLER: they have been offered permanent positions.

This sends a strong signal from the Pürgen-based company. EICHLER is making targeted investments in training young people, thereby focusing on developing its own pool of skilled workers. Especially at a time when qualified employees are more important than ever, this is a clear commitment to the future.

Four engineering talents and a remarkable success story

Jason, Ben, Tom und Tobias have successfully completed their 3.5 year training as electronics technicians for equipment and systems. In doing so, they have chosen a career that is not only technically demanding but also a perfect fit for EICHLER. After all, every day here involves repairing and maintaining automation technology and giving it a new lease of life.

Anyone training fpr a technical profession at EICHLER work in a hands-on environment close to real-world practice. Analysing faults, finding solutions, testing equipment, carrying out repairs, and always working with precision and a sense of responsibility - all this is part of everyday life. The training demands commitment, concentration and perseverance. This makes the achievement all the more rewarding when you successfully complete the course.

Hanna made a particularly impressive mark in the commercial sector. She completed her training as an office administration assistant ahead of schedule, after just 2.5 years. Even more impressive is her result: with a grade of 1.0, she achieved the best result in the Landsberg am Lech district in her chosen training. She was awarded the Bavarian State Prize for this outstanding achievement.

Pride, recognition and new prospects

The certificate presentation took place during a formal ceremony at the company. Those in attendance included Thomas Baier, Managing Director, Elke Knieriemen, Head of Human Resources, Daniela Hieronymus, Commercial Trianing Supervisor, sowie Richard Wegele, Head of Technical Training.

It was an occasion where one thing in particular was palpable: pride. Pride in what these young people have achieved over the past few years. And joy at the fact that this journey does not end with their certificate, but continues at EICHLER.

Thomas Baier sums it up: “We are proud of our trainees' achievements. The fact that they have all successfully completed their training and that we are able to offer them permanent roles within our company is a strong indication of the high quality of our training programme and of our commitment to nurturing young talent.”

For HR manager Elke Knieriemen, too, this is a special moment. She says: “It's always something special to see how young people develop during their training. We're delighted that they've all passed their exams. Hanna's success is exceptional. To finish with the top mark of 1.0 despite completing the course early is an achievement of which she can rightly be very proud.”

Trianing with a future at EICHLER

It is no coincidence that all graduates are offered permanent roles. At EICHLER, training is a key part of long-term staff development. The company now employs just under 300 people and continues to grow.

Anyone starting their career here will no tonly find a secure start, but also a meaningful role. EICHLER specialises in the repair, maintenance and sale of discintinued automation technology. This is not only technologically exciting, but also sustainable. After all, every repaired component helps to prevent electronic waste and conserve resources.

This year’s graduation ceremony demonstrates exactly that: at EICHLER, young talents are given the opportunity to develop, take on responsibility and find their place within the company in the long term. For Jason, Ben, Tom, Tobias and Hanna, graduation is therefore not just the end of their training. Above all, it marks the start of a new chapter in their careers.
