Strong prospects at the 2024 training fair

Once again in 2024, EICHLER took part in the training fair in Kaufering, offering pupils and jobseekers exciting insights into the world of automation technology. Our apprentices were on hand to answer all questions - with creativity, commitment and enthusiasm!

Insight into the world of work: Apprenticeship at EICHLER

At this year's training fair in Kaufering, the motto “Strong into the future” took centre stage - and at EICHLER this was not just a slogan, but a lived reality! From the first moment, the enthusiasm of our apprentices was palpable. They took the time to give interested young people a closer look at their careers in automation technology. Because with us, it's not just about repairing old technology - we make sure that valuable resources are conserved, and electronic waste is avoided. All our apprenticeships actively contribute to achieving this goal:

Electronics technician for devices and systems (m/f/d)

Office management assistant (m/f/d)

Warehouse operative apprenticeship (m/f/d)

First-hand insights, practical tips and fascinating stories from working life: All this was offered to pupils at the EICHLER stand. Our apprentices were on hand to answer all questions and shared their experiences with great commitment.

More than just technology: Creativity and team spirit

Especially on Thursday evening, when entry-level workers and jobseekers were able to find out more outside school hours, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. It was the perfect time for anyone looking for new career opportunities. EICHLER was able to demonstrate that careers in automation technology are nor only exciting for technology enthusiasts, but also call for creative minds and team players.

This was also reflected in our special highlight: The homemade roulette game! With great dedication and creativity, our apprentices had prepared a game that was not only fun, but also offered attractive prizes. It proved to be a real crowd-puller - and showed just how much enthusiasm there is in our team.

Sustainability and innovation: Future prospects at EICHLER

What sets EICHLER apart from other employers is our focus on sustainability and innovation. The repair of discontinued automation technology is at the heart of what we do - with a clear goal: to avoid electronic waste and preserve valuable resources. For us, this means not only keeping older technology running, but also actively contributing to environmental protection.

For the young people at the fair, this was an important point. Many showed great interest in how our work helps protect the environment while also driving innovation in technology. It became clear: anyone who chooses an apprenticeship at EICHLER becomes part of a modern company and contributes to a sustainable future.

What the participants say

“I had no idea that technology could be so exciting! Above all, the focus on sustainability really convinced me”, said one pupil who had a detailed chat with our apprentices. “This is exactly what I want to do - something that truly makes a difference.” There was also plenty of positive feedback from jobseekers on Thursday evening. “The atmosphere at the EICHLER stand was great. You can really tell that the team sticks together and enjoys their work,” said a young woman looking to change her career direction.

Our exhibition team was thrilled with the enthusiasm and the interesting conversations with visitors. “It's fantastic to see how we can inspire young people about our work,” said one of our apprentices. “It gives you an extra boost of motivation yourself!”

Strong into the future: Together with EICHLER

The training fair in Kaufering was a great success for EICHLER. We are proud to have shown so many young people the opportunities in automation technology. One thing is certain for us: We look forward to welcoming the talents of tomorrow! Whether as an apprentice or a new employee - EICHLER offers exciting prospects and a secure future.

In a world where sustainability is becoming increasingly important, our work matters more than ever. Anyone who chooses a career with us becomes a part of an innovative company and part of an important mission: Avoiding electronic waste and helping to make the world a better place!

Now is the perfect time to move strongly into the future with EICHLER!

About the author

Since 2015, I have been working in marketing at EICHLER GmbH. Right at the start, I soldered a submitted S5 CPU module labeled “Made in Western Germany.” This experience sparked my enthusiasm for sustainability and repair in automation technology. Until 2024, I served as editor-in-chief of the customer magazine "News from maintenance", passionately reporting on people and solutions in industrial maintenance. In the new digital magazine, I now focus on Product Change Notifications (PCN) and Product Discontinuation Notifications (PDN).
