Product Discontinuation of SINAMICS S110 Control Units Announced 

The products affected are the Control Units of the Siemens SINAMICS S110 series with the following article numbers: 

• 6SL3040-0JA00-0AA0 (CU305 DP)
• 6SL3040-0JA01-0AA0 (CU305 PN)
• 6SL3054-4TC00-2AA0 (firmware version 4.4 SP3)

These control units are used in positioning and drive applications. Typical areas of use include packaging machines, textile machines and conveyor systems. They control the drive with precision and ensure high process quality. 

With the P.M400 status, Siemens will cease active marketing and product maintenance of the affected Control Units as of October 2025. The items will still be available to order, but only in limited quantities. The 10-year spare parts commitment begins on this date and will run until 1 October 2035. 

A date for the next stage - the product phase-out (P.M410) - has not yet been announced. The reason for this is the ongoing transition from the Machinery Directive to the Machinery Regulation.

Voltage range: 3 AC 200–240 V (0,55–55 kW), 3 AC 380–500 V (1,1–110 kW)

Target group: Universal converter solutions with a wide range of applications.

• P.M400 = Product discontinuation announced, spare parts guarantee begins
